Mark Your Calendar For Miner's Day in Park City – Sept. 1
Fall is just around the corner and there is no better way to welcome it than a day in The
City of Park.
Labor Day, or as we refer to it, “Miner’s Day” has become a tradition for the BMCU, and let us not forget this
year’s event. We will meet at the top of Swede Alley around 10:00 AM (or 9:00 for those that want to enjoy a bit
of breakfast) for our fuel saving trip down Main Street and into City Park for a picnic of whatever you bring,
or indulge in the burgers and brats provided by the local Rotary Club. They also sell beer!!!!!! And soda.
Over the past fifteen (or more) years we have endured a low of 3-1/2 cars (the late Bill Plummer arrived at the
middle of the parade) to as many as thirty cars. It would really be a thrill to see forty or more of our little
toys prance down the street to the cheers of all. So, let us mark our calendars for a trip up the hill and out
of the heat on Monday, September 1, 2008.
