British Field Day at Liberty Park
Saturday June 21st 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

The weather was perfect, the turnout was good, and the Hermance rally course was the most challenging in BFD history.

We even had good food. The St. Paul's crew showed up in force and cooked up a storm. They even had to make a Costco run to buy more hamburgers and they still ran out of them!

Back to the rally set up -- Jon pondered and fiddled with cones in his usual way and came up with a diabolical course. The diabolical part was curbs! The course was set up so that they loomed large in your sights. You had to be very very careful.

We did sell raffle tickets and will be having the drawing shortly and we'll announce the results in the August newsletter.

For the first time in several years we also did an official 2008 BFD T-shirt. It is a take off on the British Bulldog motif and it is a beaut! If you couldn't make the event or didn't get around to getting one. We have limited amount of them still available Contact Bill Davis at 860-6975 to purchase one. Cost is $15.

The event was a financial success as usual and St. Paul's Community Outreach fund is better off to the tune of $2,000 or so.
