End of Season Dinner
October 27, 2007

A great time was had by all at the umpteenth annual BMCU End of Season Dinner at MacCool’s Public House on October 27.

It being the Saturday before Hallowe’en, attendees were instructed to bring or wear something scary. Two samples are shown above — our esteemed Governor General with a milk advertisement mustache, and Membership Director Michael Scoggins in his carburetor adjustment mask.

Several stalwarts drove their Britmobiles to the event, including organizers Pugs and Diane Pivirotto in their new white Triumph Herald convertible.

The staff at MacCool’s as usual did a great job keeping orders straight and glassed filled for our crowd, some of whom flowed from chair to chair and table to table like oil from a Lotus.

Although no 50th birthday cars were declared (born in 1957), Werner Prochaska proudly passed around a photo of his newly acquired 1946 MG TC — clearly, a work in progress.

Signing in were Gary and Sandy Lindstrom, Kevin and Marie Cowan, Mitch and Diane Johnson, Jon Hermance, Michael and Mary Scoggins, Paul Jaroch, Werner Prochaska and family, Pugs and Diane Pivirotto, Terry and Lien Rees, Keri and Melanie Bruce, Rose Armstrong and Bill Brinn, and Anne and Dave Spendlove.
