Tech Session November 13: Powder Coating

It was a beautiful November morning (before the inversions set in!). A large group of curious enthusiasts gathered a the Steel Coatings Inc. shop. All were interested in what they could do to improve their on going restoration projects at home. A nice man took us around the large shop and explained all the processes available for a variety of different needs we may encounter during the build up of our precious little Brit mobiles. Many questions were asked (and answered). Some items were even dropped off to be done (they turned out amazing by the way!). We had one of the largest turn out for a Tech session. Such famous names as: Rob "The MC" Green, Ralph Sawyer, Stephen Bender, Gregg Smith, Gary "The Man" Lindstrom, Ken & Cherry Lolmaugh, Dan Forster, Nathan "What Rust?" Massie, Larry Bishop, Chris Malan, John Progess, Carin Jacobson, Mitch "The Merchant" Johnson and Son / Head Photographer Greg, Scott Wall, Lynn Wall, Paul "So what if it's German" Jaroch, Michael Scoggins, Dan "So what if it's Italian" Kasha, Mike Coleman, Barry Blackett, Rupert Castilleja and Son, Clayton Merchant, Dale Bounds and Richard " Size does Matter" Mokolfsky. An informative morning was had by all, and a new tradition of a small token of the BMCU's appreciation was started by the generosity of several of out attendees. A T-shirt and decal was presented to our host. Oh, and Mitch was able to bring together a long awaited dream of the club, and presented our new BMCU Grill Badges! (I think that may have been the reason some folks showed up? Rob?). Thanks for supporting the club and a great Tech Session!
